This is a review after having the watch for about 4 months. Overall the watch is physically well built, light for its size and durable. The leather strap seems strong. Works fine even if it gets wet, althugh it helps to make sure it gets dry at the end of the day instea dof keeping it on. However the physical solidity of this watch is let down by a lot of sloppiness from Sunnto in the underlying technology and interface.
For example the graphics of the numerals in the display are crude and the contrast is okay but for the money the watch costs should be a lot better. The layout and labeling (or lack thereof) of the display is generic and poor.
The logic of the buttons control for setting and accessing functions is poor. The manual explaining this is even poorer explained and not included - you have to download and print it out.
In short, this watch is a cynical output by Sunnto, to exploit their brand name name.
It is a shame as it is well built and the styling decent. But they are penny wise and pound fooling. Had they put more effort into the user interface of this product, they could sell a lot more of these. But as it is, consumers can find much more useful alternatives, especially at this price point. In fact , you could probably by TWO better watches for the money Sunnto is asking.
So, if you want a sorta good looking, rugged-ish watch, buy this. But if you are really interested in in accessing and using any functionality beyond the time and date, then I would advise you to look elsewhere, as it is an excersise in frustration which you can definitely avoid at these prices.
