I've had the Oregon Scientific RM818PA for about a month now. And am finally getting around to reviewing it because I've got a couple extra hours on my hands... Why, you ask? Well because the clock reset itself (using the RF feature, I'm sure) during the night. So instead of waking up at 5:15am, I woke up at 3:15am. It was only on the drive to work that I realized the actual time. So what happened? I'm thinking the clock somehow "forgot" or reset it's timezone setting, regressing from pacific to central.
As for the rest of the clock. The projection feature works great though the scrolling animation is kind of annoying in my opinion. The buttons along the sides of the unit aren't very friendly either. Setting the clock isn't very intuitive and you have to press one of the side buttons to shut off the alarm which means either sitting up and carefully finding a button or knocking the thing off the table as it's so lightweight.
I don't really recommend this clock, but that's probably due to grumpiness caused by losing 2 hours of sleep.
