(More customer reviews)I bought this to make my car passable for state inspection and fix the door lock. I own a German car and the actual OEM replacement part was wayyyyy to expensive for what it does (retardedly so- why do they over complicate things like this. It's just a frickin car lock- manual is fine) so I got this. It says universal, and I suppose it is, but the wires and bars are too short for an install. I could have gotten extensions, but it was easier and faster to just force the pressure system to make it work some of the time, rather than all of the time. I had to through this part away, but it was super cheap so no big deal. It worked as described and there really wasn't any misrepresentation, but install required too many additional parts. Just be aware if you buy this part you may also need extension wire from the auto parts store and you will have to cut and splice wires to extend the length so the device can fit in the door.
