(More customer reviews)I decided to purchase the FlexTune system for a few reasons. The main reason was to replace my iHome with clock that did not light up my bedroom it a horrible blue light. The FlexTune does have a blue power led which I covered up with black electrical tape. Now my main problem was fixed.
2nd I like to have soft music playing when I sleep. The FlexTune puts out plenty of sound to drown out city noise sitting on my nightstand. It takes up very little room on my nightstand.
3rd reason is choose the FlexTune is because it will charge and position the iPhone in a horizontal position. Being I don't keep TV in my bedroom I just lay on my side and watch a few podcast before bed.
4th reason is I use the FlexTune as an alarm clock using the iPods built in alarm. The alarm plays thru the FlexTune speakers.
Is a great little speaker system. I might even buy another one for my desk at work.
