Within a week, however, the remote stopped working reliably. I reprogrammed it a few times, but it continued to have problems. I contacted the company and within days I received a new remote, free of charge. They were courteous, prompt, and apologetic about the problem. They wanted to make things right, which is so rare these days in a company. So far the new remote is working perfectly. I will update if that changes.
