And, after the product is installed, it is difficult to change the battery without an extra set of hands. But, this should in no way deter you from purchasing. We highly recommend it.

This product features a built-In keypad and provides detection of unwanted intruders in your home by detecting entry. When the door or window is opened, the alarm's switch detector sounds the built-in 115 db alarm siren. To arm or disarm the system, you simply enter your programmable security code into the keypad. This alarm also features a 5-10 second entry alarm delay with alter beep tone. This is powered by a 9 volt battery (sold separately).
