(More customer reviews)I purchased one of these systems a year and a half ago due to it's advertised features such as higher resolution cameras and remote access to it via the internet (and being on sale).
Approx. one year after purchase the picture started getting washed out at the bottom of the screen. 6 months later, the bottom of the screen is so washed out that its unusable, and the labels as well as lines separating each camera view are burned into the screen even though the screen saver switches in after 1 minute. In addition to the monitor problems, one of the cameras will no longer switch to IR mode (verified that camera was bad by swapping cameras).
If contacting support and your system is past the one year warranty period, you will be charged even if it just asking a quick question. Also, be ready for a long wait.
While my system may have just been a lemon, the general consensus from reading reviews, as well as discussions with security professionals, stay away from the all-in-one systems. For security reasons, all-in-one systems are big and are difficult to hide, whereas a separate DVR system can be hidden in a secure location and accessed remotely. Your security system isn't much good if someone breaks in and steals it along with all of your other valuables. Also, if the monitor goes bad, you are stuck with either buying a new system, or buying a new monitor and setting it in front of this monitor, which takes up lots of room. In general, all-in-one systems seem to have a higher rate of failures.
