(More customer reviews)I purchased two of these units for my two son's for Christmas. One worked fine but the other had a problem cutting out as my son reported to me. When I checked the unit it was only working on one side and the sub so I gave it a few taps to see if there were loose connections. Sure enough the right side also went out leaving just the sub working. I popped the 8 screws out that hold the power amp and circuit boards in the back and sure enough a ribbon cable block connector was barely on and loose. After securely re-connecting this obvious problem and getting the unit back inside it works fine. These are good units but I think there is a problem with the ribbon cables coming loose during shipping which would explain alot of bad reviews. With a phillips screw driver and small bit of investigation the unit was back in great working condition without any need to hassle with a return or refund etc. Too bad the manufacturer doesn't blob silicone on these to secure them for the shipping which would save them and some customers alot of PITA.
