(More customer reviews)Product documentation claims it covers an 360 degree area to a distance of 5 to 7 meters (roughly 15 feet to 21). In fact mine doesn't go off until I walk right up to it within four feet! I set it up in my small bedroom-size home office, and was able to enter, work at my desk, and leave without it ever noticing. Unless your intruder does jumping jacks within a couple feet of this device, it's worthless. I've sent mine back to Amazon.
