(More customer reviews)This product is described as having a "backlit alarm clock," and in the pictures, it is illustrated with a blue backlight on. I bought two for my kids to use as clock radio/music players in their bedrooms. However, the backlighting only comes on for a few seconds when you press a button, and then goes off again, and there is no way to make it stay on, which means that at night it is impossible to see the time without finding the button and pressing it! In addition to this, the time can only be displayed in 24-hour time, which again isn't mentioned anywhere in the descriptions! I am extremely disappointed at this, and would never have chosen this item if the description had been accurate on these points.
