(More customer reviews)This product connects directly to the GM data port, presenting signals to the computer as it they had come from the car (door locks etc.), so fewer wires to find, cut/splice. It will even allow the Remote Start unit to turn on the rear-defrost and heated seats if the temp is low enough and the car has successfully started. Good integration.
