It had nice sound quality and useful settings, but the controls were not functional and the it was very easy to set the alarm wrong. No more than one month in, the dock stopped functioning properly and would make intermittent contact with the phone causing the iPhone to "blip" on and off as if it were being plugged and unplugged. Thus we could no longer charge it on the dock while sleeping. Finally after two months the iHome went completely dead. To be covered under the warranty you must have the original proof of purchase, not just the warranty or you will be charged an extra $40 on top of the shipping and handling cost, almost the cost of a new one. Overall a very disappointing purchase with multiple problems.
