(More customer reviews)The only reason I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is because I've only recently installed it in my car. I knew it was a dscontinued model, but replacement parts are still available on Amazon as well as Direct Electronics. It takes a while to be properly installed, but it seems to be worth the wait. I ordered it so that I could have some feedback in terms of being more aware of whats happening with the car when it's out of my line of vision. It does not disappoint. You are alerted if a vehicle passes by with a ridiculously loud sound system, and I think the level of responsiveness is sensitive enough without being a nuisance. At first I wasn't sure it came with installation instructions but it does, so no worries about the completeness as well as the integrity of the product and seller.
The technician did indicate that I should be careful with the two-way remote, and not store too many keys on the key chain, as the constant bumping could affect the unit. I'm very happy with this purchase and even though this is a discontinued model, the price was excellent, replacement parts are readily available and it works really well.
