The Viper SmartStart system is a waste of money because the wireless service provider Directed.com has such poor reliability in the service that it's useless. I get a successful car start maybe 25% of the time, and retrying will not produce any difference. At busy times of day, the service is unusable...unfortunately those busy times are mornings, afternoons...the times everyone is using their cars to go to/from work.
