(More customer reviews)I bought this alarm clock because overall it looked like the best for a reasonable price that included iPod docking. Everything about the clock is pretty good, except one glaring flaw. There is a feature for the alarm function that automatically increases the volume to wake you up. But this feature increases the volume almost instantaneously (within 5 seconds), and the volume becomes EXTREMELY LOUD. And the worst part is, you can't set a starting volume or a maximum volume for the feature, and you can't even turn off the feature!! I like to have the volume at around 8 for waking up, but the alarm increases to 20-30 really quickly, which I wouldn't be surprised if it woke my neighbors.
If you're not using this clock as an alarm clock and just using it to tell time and to play your iPod or radio, then great, you'll be happy. But if you want to use its alarm capabilities (and keep your eardrums intact), then I suggest you look elsewhere. I am returning this clock...very dissatisfied.
