(More customer reviews)I thought I would install this myself, however there are quite a few wires to connect and you could mess up the car computer. So I had mine professionally installed along with the Idatalink bypass in my 2000 impala. It starts easily, unlocks the doors quickly and all from a very good range. I was testing it driving my wife's truck home and I started my car from about 500' and that was with a business and a couple houses between us and my car. If you have heated seats or mirrors this can be set to start those also.
